Igbo people living in non eastern part of Nigeria


Below are the Non Eastern part of Nigeria where the Igbo People can be found;

1. Igbo people in Rivers State

Rivers state can be found in the southern region of Nigeria, it consists of various tribes and the Igbo people are not left out. You can find the following Igbo people in Rivers State;

1. The Ikwerre People

2. The Etche people

3. The Egbema people

4. The Omuma people

5. The Ndoni People

6. The Obigbo people

7. The Ekpeye People

8. The Ogba people

9. The Opobo people.

2. Igbo people of Edo State

Edo State is in the southern part of Nigeria and they have their own share of the Igbo tribe which is;

1. The Igbanke people of Edo State

The Igbanke people can be found amongst the Ika community of Edo State, they are a mixture of Igbo and Ika people. They were formed from 6 villages which originated from Edo, Delta and also Anambra State.

3. The Igbo people of Delta State

Delta State is in the southern part of Nigeria, well these Igbo people in Delta State can be found in the northern part of Delta and they are as follows;

3. The Ukwuani people

4. The Igbo people of Bayelsa State

Bayelsa State is in the southern part of Nigeria and there are a few igbo people there too, let’s take a look at them below;
