Lagos – Professor Banji Akintoye, a renowned historian who is leader and president, Yoruba World Congrees (YWC), has said that the Yoruba nation wants self-determination and not restructuring.
Akintoye in a chat with INDEPENDENT on Wednesday said that what the Yoruba people of Western Nigeria had been clamouring for was to have a self-determined nation, stressing that the issue of restructuring should not arise as the people had passed that stage.
While responding to the possibility of achieving the project, the professor said that there was nothing that could not be achievable once the people were determined and united.
