Aston Villa vs Man Utd – Predicted line up

Manchester United take on Aston Villa today in a friendly match ahead of their respective EPL games next week. And typically of pre season friendlies, the result isn’t really significant, as the aim is to give minutes into player’s legs. Below, we provide the possible line up or selections, albeit for Man Utd only.

With Tuanzebe, Pogba and Greenwood all certain to miss this game. It is expected that the players who were not in action during the international break will probably get the most minutes of action, going by the recent comments from United Boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.×250&!2&fsb=1&xpc=qCuWCnIVeJ&p=https%3A//

In goal, expect to see Dean Henderson handed a chance to impress. As Luke Shaw had already been confirmed by Ole as a starter, expect Bailly, Teden Mengi and Tim Fosu-Mensah to be the other members of the defense.

In midfield, expect to see Van De Beek feature from the start, and probably alongside Fred and Matic in a midfield three setup. And in attack, expect Daniel James, Marcus Rashford and Odion Ighalo to start.

Second half subs

A raft of changes should be expected in the second half, with it even possible that another 11 players entirely would be brought on, for the entire second half or after about 65-70 minutes of the game has been played. With Pogba and Greenwood the expected to be ready for next week’s EPL tie against Crystal Palace.
