These children are doing their best to learn from home, even without a computer or phone.
Access to a quality education should be universal. Yet school closures during COVID-19 have had the hardest impact on vulnerable children who have less access to the internet and learning materials.
As schools reopen, UNICEF is calling on governments to double down on learning support for the most marginalized children, especially those living in poverty and in rural areas.
Together with partners, we must reimagine a world where every child has an equal opportunity to learn.
